Dear Bro:
You are hereby authorized to proceed to Soda Springs, Idaho, and take and retain possession of my house and property at that place in my behalf, and also other property that may be transferred from Mr Alex. Majors to myself. Capt. W.H. Hooper, with a portion of his family will pay a visit to the springs within a few days to meet Mr Majors, and during their stay will occupy the house, when I hope all will be as comfortable as the circumstances will admit
