Dear Brother:-I am directed by Prest. B Young to say to you to make application to Hon W.H. Hooper, at Washington for the money (Four Hundred Dollars as I learn from bro. Staines) necessary to pay the balance of your expenses and to enable you to return home at the proper time. The Captain is advised to aid you to that amount if he possibly can.
