Dear Bro:-- Your favor of the 10th inst. came to hand for which accept my thanks. The Pistol alluded to, if ever in the possession of the Prophet Joseph is an interesting relic & should be treasured as such by the Saints. If you will be kind enough to forward it to me at the earliest opportunity, it shall be placed in the Museum, with the donor's name attached & such particulars as may serve to establish its authenticity.
