Mr. James H. Hart,
Bloomington.

Dear Bro: Sister Amelia Massarvy whose maiden name is Brindle, called on me yesterday in company with her mother to procure a Bill of Divorce which I send to you for the purpose of procuring the husbands signature. You will see that it is properly signed & witnessed & return to this Office soon as practicable. He should be requested to pay the usual fee which is $10.00.

These sisters stated to me that the Probate Court gave Amelia a Bill of Divorce & made no provision for her maintainance because she did not wish for any at that time, but she now wishes that something be done for the support of the children & takes this method of making application to you to see what the Court can do for her. You will oblige by giving this matter your prompt attention. Kind regard to self & the saints.
