Dear Bro
Your favor of the 11th inst. has been received in relation to a rope one half of which you wish to purchase. The rope was sent to catch the Bear Lake Monster and if it cannot catch a Serpent, it is at least some <[grat]?>[just]ification to know that it is used on a ferry boat.

You are welcome to the rope, all I ask for it, is the privilege to use the ferry when we come to visit you,

We are pleased to hear from you and would like you oftener, it is always interesting to hear of the welfare of throughout the settlements & of their progress in building up the Kingdom of God.
