Dear Sister:
Your note of yesterday's date has been handed to me. I am very sorry to hear of your sickness, and hope it will be of but short duration

With regard to the matter contained in your note I expect bro. John W. home in a few days, and will then present it to him. Until then rest at ease, I presume that both the Doctor and Sexton, knowing your circumstances will be willing to wait so short a time as I expect it will be until John W's return.
