To the Presidentess and Council
10th Ward Female Relief Society,

Dear Sisters;
The bearer of this, Bro. Edward W. Jones, who represents that he is 71 years of age, with a wife unable to work and 4 Children. the eldest of whom is 16 years of age and sickly, has applied to me for relief. There is nothing in the Tithing Store at the present time, and, moreover it is the duty of the ward to provide for their poor. You will please give this matter your attention and adopt such measures for the relief of this family as will ensure them against suffering, and go to the Bishop and arrange with him for the support of the poor.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
