March 22nd. 1871.

B.H. Jenks Esq.,
President Bridesburg Manufacturing Co:-Philadelphia.

Sir:-I herewith forward you Bill of Machinery for the Timpanagos Woolen Mill in the city of Provo, Utah. The bill has been made out from drafts and specifications furnished by the Bridesburg Manufacturing Company.

The specifications call for eight sets 48 inch Cards, and four self-acting Mules of 600 spindles each 2 inch-guage.

It has been suggested, that a portion of the Mules be built with 720 spindles each 3/4 guage. We shall, however, leave this to your better judgment. We wish the cards and Mules built proportionately.

Mr. Burke has seen the buildings, and will, probably, be able to decide in relation to the machinery necessary to fit up the mill and will very readily comprehend our wants.

We have, also, specified in a separate bill, that which we thought would complete one set of machinery, which I wish made and forwarded as soon as convenient.

Please advise me of the time when you will be prepared to make the first shipment; I may see proper to send some one to see to it.

I wish the machinery consigned to H.B. Clawson, Supt. Zion's Co-operative Mercantile Institution, Salt Lake, Utah.; communications in relation to the machinery to be addressed to James W. Cummings of the same place.

Wishing you prosperity in your business, I remain

Yours truly,
