Dear Sir:-- I have perused your letter, under date 16th inst. addressed to my brother, Phineas, and learning that he is unable to visit you immediately, I beg to submit the following propositions.

By obtaining special rates on the C.P.R.R. a car loaded can be sent to this city for about one hundred and seventy-five dollars, U.S. Currency. I propose, that you bring a car load of your half-breed bees, consisting of 200 swarms of well developed bees, in good hives, as proposed in your letter, for which I will give you, on delivery at this city, seven dollars per swarm, and twelve cents per pound for your ton of honey, in currency. I will pay transportation of the car, which, as already stated, will cost about $175.00, U.S. Currency; Your defraying your individual expenses.

If you conclude to accept these propositions, and come with a car, telegraph me immediately.
