Dear Sir,

Yours of the 31st. ult just recd. My terms are essentially the same as yours, including your two additional considerations. 1st I proposed to charter the car at my own expense for which I have made arrangements.

2nd. I stated I would give you seven (7) dollars in currency per swarm for well developed bees, in good hives, delivered in this city. I do not propose to stand the loss of any swarms that may perish on the passage, but I am willing you should retain as many as may be neccessary, at your own expense, till the two hundred swarms are made.
