Dear Bro:-- Yours of the 23 inst has been received.

With regard to Bro. Wm. Knight's case, let it be preferred to the Probate Court, so that Sister Knight can have a Bill of Divorce, and the proper steps taken to secure her a good maintenance. When this is done, if Bro. Knight refuses to abide the decision, cut him off the Church. The other case, that of Timothy Bradley Foote should be settled in like manner, that is Bro. Foote should be required by the Probate Court to give his wife a Bill of Divorce and provide her a good maintenance. In either case, the sisters can have a Bill from the Church should they require it.
