Dear Sir:-
In view of the completion of our Machinery for the "Timpanogos Woollen Mill" in Provo City, we are anxious to secure the services of some responsible and thoroughly competent person who understands, and will come and oversee the setting up, and management of that Machinery, and of the works generally. We presume from your extended experience that you are able to find such a person, and we would be pleased to have you suggest some one, also the terms upon which he would be willing to come. Your early attention to this is respectfully solicited, and will be highly appreciated.

Would it be agreeable to you, for Mr. Burke to come, say for one year?

Yours very respectfully,
Brigham Young
