Dear Bro:-

Your letter of the 10th inst. in which you desire to know my and with regard to naming your Settlement, has just reached me; and, in answer to which I would say, that the name you have chosen, viz:- Laketown, is perfectly right; I have no other choice whatever.

I shall be pleased to hear from you at any time and to learn of the well-doing and growth of your new settlement.
