Hon. George A. Black,
Sec. U.T.

Dear Sir,

I have just received two Copies of the "Laws of Utah 1851-1870." which you have done me the honor to present me, and for which I respectfully tender you my thanks. I observe that the latter portion of the volumne is printed in type manufactured in this City, which, although somewhat defective, presents a very creditable appearance. It constitutes a handy text book, embracing as it does the "Acts" &c. of the several Legislative Assemblies from their first organization.

Wishing you success in your official labors for the interests of our growing Territory, I
remain,

Yours with respect
Brigham Young
