Dear Brigham Young

Dear Sir

I intend to visit your city sometime next month with my wife and sister While I am so near the Pacific Coast I desire to make the entire trip across the continent and if not asking to much from you would ask you to procure me a pass over the Central Pacific to San Francisco and return for myself & wife and send to me at Nebraska City as soon as possible. I am informed by prominent Railroad men here that such a request will be granted you and I know you will favor me this much in consideration of what i have done in [illegible] in reference to which we have had some correspondence.

Hoping a favorable reply.

I remain yours truly
G. B Scofield
