Dear Sir:

Yours of the 9th inst. with Mr. J.O. Ballingers letter to you has been received.

Your parcel of supporters which you have done me the honor to present me with, arrived per express also to-day, for which I respectfully tender you my thanks.

As you inquire the name of some good party to take the agency, I refer you to Mr. H.B. Clawson of this City, as by far the best in Utah Territory. He is the Supt of the largest General Merchandise establishment here with branch houses in every City, Town & Village in the Territory. You will find him in every respect trustworthy & honorable.
