Prest. Chas. C. Rich,
Paris.

Dear Bro:

Your favor of the 14th inst. was handed to me by Bishop Budge. We were pleased to hear from you, and of the general health of the people and the prospects of a tolerable harvest.

While the Bishop waits I will take the opportunity of writing you a few lines. My health continues good, for which I feel very thankful. Bro. George A. is much improved and expects to be able to accompany me, on our trip to Soda Springs.

We propose starting on Monday June 26. reaching Wahsatch by the regular train about noon, at which place we would like those brethren from the settlements who may choose to come, to meet us, and we will proceed with them according to the arrangements they may make.

Peace be with you, and every requisite blessing, and remember me to the brethren.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.

D McK. Sec.
