Dear Bro:

Your letter to the Prest respecting Bro. M. Powell was duly received. He instructed me to write to you stating that he spoke to Bishop Sharp about the matter but received no encouragement.

Had Bro. Powell made known the case when Bishop Sharp was engaged in settling all such claims with the Railroad company, he might have succeeded in getting something allowed for him, as he did for others, but it is too late now, a final settlement has been made with the Co.
