Dear Brother:

Will you have the kindness to purchase the following iron or brass locks for the Office, to be the very best quality of tumbler locks; no matter what the price is. If you cannot find any that are really good, please to have them made to order, for we must have some that will keep our books and records secure.
one (1) dozen for Boxes
one (1) do " Secretaries about 3 in, X 4 in.
one (1) do " do extra heavy

The bolts should be stout and shoot out 3/4 to 11/4 inches to guard against shrinkage of doors.
