Dear Bro:

When your letter to me of the 9th inst. arrived here, I was from home visiting some of the settlements in the north. After my return it was brought to my notice.

With regard to the subject in question, my mind would be, if you want another wife, to get a recommend from your Bishop, and try and get a woman that will stay with you, and leave the one you allude to alone.
