Bishops in Cache County,

Dear Brethren,

John W. Young is about to visit Cache Valley, to ascertain the feelings of the brethren, with reference to constructing a Railroad from some point on the line of the U. P. and C. P. Railroads through your settlements; and, if agreeable, to organize a Company, and take initiatory steps to procure the iron, rolling stock &c.

So far as I am concerned, the enterprise has my best wishes & feelings, and if the people want the Railroad, and are satisfied, after proper consideration, that they can raise the means to purchase the iron, rolling stock &c. they can have my hearty co-operation, as far as my faith and good feelings are concerned.
