Dear Bro:

Yours of the 9th concerning some bolting cloth was duly received, and the matter was immediately brought to the notice of my agent Bro. John R. Haslam with whom you had the deal, and he reports, that not knowing the price of bolting cloth he went to the Cooperative Institution & got the accompanying statement of prices from one of the clerks.

He furthermore procured an Invoice of Bolting cloth which Bro Pyper sent for a few months ago, shewing the first cost, as follows

131/2 Yds. XX No 10 B. Cloth @ $4.00     $54.00
6    "   "   "     9 "     "       3.90          23.00
3    "   "   "     5 "     "       3.05            9.15

You will observe that Bro. Haslam has charged you the same as the Co-operative Institution would have done, and I cannot but think that he done perfectly right, and acted perfectly honorable in the transaction.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
Brigham Young
