Dear brother:--

I wrote you on the 11th inst. requesting payment of amount due me on your
note, but have received no word from you. I have reason to believe that you are now in a position to make full payment of said note, and if you do not feel to do so it would appear to be right for me to bring the matter before the authorities of the 17th ward in a Church capacity, as a first step in the case which I trust you will not oblige me to take. Hoping you
will give the matter your immediate attention I remain Yours respectfully,
Brigham Young
