Dear Sister

Your note of the 21st has been received.

In accordance with your expressed wish I made inquiry with regard to the Smith Bros, who are now engaged working out a debt, but I find they are so slack in paying up what they already owe me, that I do not feel disposed to have any further deal with them at present.

I have instructed Bro. Joseph Ridges to call and look at your piano, and upon his report I will see what can be done in the premises.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
Brigham Young
