Elder James W. Cummings
65 & 67 Nth. Front St. Phil.

Dear Bro:

For certain reasons I have withdrawn my order to Eagle Works, and would like you to hunt up some other party who will do the work. Since you left, I concluded to change the thickness of the rim & buckets, the rim to 1/4 of an inch & the buckets to 3/16. When the work is completed it should be shipped to, and addressed "H. B. Clawson, Supt. Z. C. M. I. Salt Lake City, U. T. with the mark B. Y.

I enclose you the estimate furnished by the Eagle Works, we think, however, that the figures are high, and you will observe that the estimate is for the thick iron.

Get the work done as low as possible, & be particular to have the work prosecuted immediately as there has been too much time lost already.

I am happy to state my health is almost quite restored. As Bishop Sharp expects to bear this to you, he will give you all the news.

Your Bro. in the Gospel Brigham Young

P. S. In consequence of the unusual pressure for funds, needed for various purposes, we have been compelled to sell some of our wool and will have to continue to do so to the amount of some ten thousand dollars, for which I trust you will be able to find a good market.

When you receive the pay for it, place the money in bank to the credit, and subject to the order of H. B. Clawson, Supt. Z. C. M. I. with Duncan, Sherman & Co. Bankers New York City, as correspondents of the Bank of Deseret. or on Wells, Fargo & Co.
