Dear Bro:-

President Young has started south for his health, and before he went, he asked me to say to you in case I wrote to you that there will be some seven thousand ($7000) dollars of Bonds r mile coming to the U. S. R. R. Co. which will be some ($120.000) on 20 miles -- and for you to ascertain if you can get the money on them either by sale at about 80 of par or by way of loan, giving them as security. As you will doubtless receive telegraphic news about what transpires here in advance very much of this I need say nothing, as it is painful to me to write of.

Write to me about the above requests in relation to what you can do with the Utah Southern bonds.

Yours brother in the Gospel
T. W. Ellerbeck
