Elder Gro. Reynolds
42 Islington,

Dear Bro:-

Name no. 55 on List of Persons ordered assisted Sept 2 1871 by Prest. Young (John Henry Johnk) to the amount of $155. Currency is to be struck off, and the entire amount, as the person who furnished the money wants it back immediately, stating that that man has helped himself to the States. Will you therefore advise me at once that you have done so,
to enable me to return his money.

O. B. Shaw has paid here £5.10.0. Credit him & charge this office.

Your kind attention will oblige

Truly yours
T. W. Ellerbeck
