Elder H. F. Peterson,
Ephraim City, Sanpete Co.

Dear Bro: Yours to Prest. D. H. Wells Oct. 25 was duly received; to which he instructed me then to write to you, that a general call had been made for Stone Masons, Laborers &c who might feel to volunteer for the building of the Temple at St George, and all were at liberty to do so. It would be strictly necessary, however in every case, to take along bread stuffs sufficient to sustain themselves in consequence of the scarcity I would have written sooner, but awaited further developments, and now it appears the ground has been dedicated, and work has commenced.

Praying for the prosperity of the work of God everywhere,

I remain Your Bro. in the Gospel
D. McKenzie
