Bp. Jno. Rowberry,
Tooele.

Dear Bro:-- I see by Mary Gilletts patent that she wrote on the back of it "transferred to the Grantsville Woollen Manufacturing Co Oct 4 1871" which is not, as I take it, a legal or proper way of transferring land, and whether that land is to be transferred to President B Young or to the said Company, it should be done by proper deed and for a consideration of money, and when you or bro Rydalch are in here, I would prefer to get the matter attended to. Your letter about Forsyth will be responded to as requested, I expect.

Your brother in the Gospel,
T. W. Ellerbeck
