Gentlemen:

I have paid your drafts (through H. B. Clawson, Supt.) on account of Machinery for the Woollen Factory, to a large amount, and I learn that you have drawn at 3 days sight, yet up to this time I have not received a bill of any of said machinery.

I desire to obtain a full, itemized, and correct bill of your charges therefor, so that I may ascertain how we stand, and if the prices and everything be correct, believing that it is but right and proper that I should receive said Accounts before making any further payment.

Respectfully yours,
Brigham Young
