Yours of the 12th inst. concerning a City corporation for Kamas has been recd.

It is a matter about which we care very little, and you are at liberty to act as your judgement may dictate. We think, however, that it would be advisable to defer it for the present, until your population and the requirements of the settlement shall better justify your petition than they do at present.
