Dear Bro:

Elder Wm. Morrison called upon me to day and shewed me a letter he had received from Prest. Hyde from which, as well as from a wrong construction put upon a letter I sent to Bro. Morrison in 1870, it appears he has been exersing certain authority without proper license.

I do not know how far Bro. Morrison may have done wrong in the premises, but he says he is willing to acknowledge his mistake to the people of Richfield, as he has already done here, and if this is the extent of the charges against him, we think it advisable to let the matter rest with his confession, if he has done anything that he ought to make confession for.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
