Bishop P. H. Young.
Kamas, Summit Co.

My dear Brother,

Yours of the 19th has been recd. With regard to the request made in your letter, I have placed ($50.00) Fifty dollars. U. S. Currency in the hands of T. W. Ellerbeck, subject to your draft or order. You can draw that amount from the Co-operative Institution at Kamas, and give them your order on me payable to the institution here to liquidate it.

This will enable you to purchase the wheat and the potatoes without my drawing on the tithing office, which I wish to avoid.

My health continues good. Our convention is operating with a great degree of spiritedness, which you will doubtless read with interest.

Your affecionate brother.
Brigham Young

P. S. If the wheat can be purchased at the Tithing Office, it may be best to get there and I will pay the money for it here, you can get what potatoes you want without the money. let me know the number of bushels, <you want> and I will send a Tithing office order for them,
exclusive of the fifty dollars.
