Dear Sister.

Yours of a recent date for counsel with regard to your visiting your brothers and sisters in the east has been received.

In view of the fact that it would require considerable money, and I do not think it would be advisable for you to start without sufficient to pay your way going and returning and making yourself comfortable while gone, I do not feel like counselling you to go.

The railroad authorities have refused to allow missionaries' wives the privilege of half fare, which they will give to none but those who have Missionaries' certificates, which makes a great difference. With many thanks for your well wishes,

I remain Your bro. in the Gospel
