S. L. City, March 1.1872.
Mr. John Worthen and others.

Dear Brethren, Yours of the 21st. Feb. was duly received and its contents noted.

The subject is more properly one for the City water master to consider and when I see Bro. Groo I will call his attention to it. I will say however, that until the water from the eastern Kanyons is brought round on the bench, there will always be more or less trouble in dry seasons, and I see no remedy until this is accomplished, which, I hope, if our enemies let us alone sufficiently and the Lord prospers us, we may be able to do at no very distant period.
