S. L. City,
March 11. 1872.

Mrs. A. A. Kiskadden.
S. L. City.

Yours of Friday was duly received, and that part of it with regard to your claim of $120. was submitted to Manager Clawson.

From his statement and that of J. C. Graham, it appears they do not owe you any wages, the latter assures me you were not engaged for any definite time, and that you were paid in full for the time you did play. Had that time extended to 6 months you would have been entitled to a benefit, but as you are aware, we had to close on account of poor business. As it is, I am willing you should have that benefit on Saturday, 16th inst. on the following terms:-- you to have the entire gross receipts except $125.00 U. S. Currency. We furnish ticket seller, Doorkeepers, Ushers, & run the stage, including property men & prompter. You to light & heat the house, pay the printing, the company, supernumeraries, and orchestra, and meet all other expenses outside of those named. If you think of employing any parties outside of the regular company, I would require to know, as a condition, who they are. If these terms do not suit you, I am willing you should have your benefit after we open, on the same terms as before.
