Dear Bro:

Yours concerning the building of your Meeting house has been received and its concerns duly considered.

We were pleased to hear from you and to learn that the sight in your left eye was much improved, and we sincerely hope this improvement will continue till you are thoroughly restored.

With regard to Bro. Angel engaging in your meeting house, he appears to have as much on his hands now as he can well manage as his health is feeble and his labors, for him, very arduous. If he could attend to it, I have no doubt he could get you up a very satisfactory design.

I would suggest for your consideration that you build a house 60 x 40 ft. outside measurement; let it be 28 ft. between joists so that you can have a gallery hereafter, if desired. Be sure and have a large and roomy stand. Your vestry you can add at any time, Make your foundation wall 21/2 feet-- and the main wall 2 feet.

My health continues good for which I feel very thankful, the brethren with whom I associate are generally well.

We trust you will have a spirited election for the State legislation and that the people will render all the aid they can to the county officers in taking a full and correct census of the inhabitants. Remember me to the Saints in Cedar, and that you may be blessed in every good work is my prayer.
