Dear Sister,

Yours of the 8th inst. is received. Certainly if the money is received at this office, and is not used for the emigration of your sister, it will be subject to your order. If it is received before Bro. Staines goes east, he will be instructed to send her on as soon as practicable.

It will be necessary for you to write to her and instruct her to apply to Bro. Staines for her passage, or make known to him that she is not coming; without she does this, Bro. Staines will of course keep the money in hand expecting her to apply for her passage. His address in New York is Mr. Wm. C. Staines, No. 8, Battery Place. N. Y, City.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
