Dear Bro:

Yours of the 13th inst. was received and its contents duly considered. I am not aware of any situation vacant now, such as you desire, or I would be much pleased to let you know of it.

With regard to Bro. Isaac Hunter or yourself going to the Colorado, I am perfectly willing, if you feel so disposed; it is a matter, however you must determine for yourselves as I am not inclined to give any counsel on the subject of mining for it would very soon draw me into difficulty.
