Dear Bro:--

Yours of the 23. has been received. We regret very much the difficulty existing between yourself and Bro. Morrison, and see, as yet, no good reason, why it should be carried so far as to deprive him of his standing in the Church.

I need not here repeat what I have already written to you but I will merely state that I never told Bro. Morrison "you had no authority to cut him from the Church."

As to your questions they are such as any Latter-day-saint can answer correctly, but the real question is, and one which we would be pleased to have you answer, what transgression has Wm Morrison committed to justify his being cut off?

Your Bro. in the Gospel
