Dear Bro:

Your letter to Prest. Young was read to him in the presence of Bro. John Neal. & I think the Prest. will write to the Bishop on the subject. He remarked to the brethren present then that the wrong was not in setting up another Store, but in making conflicting interests.

He thought it was wrong to charge any more for goods at Lehi than the retail price in this City. He said the freightage from here to Lehi. ought of course to be added to the first cost of goods, but the difference of rent between the two places would more than make that up, and the advance as charged here upon the wholesale prices would amount to a large per cent. if the capital was turned over several times in the year.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
