Mr. Laurance Boden,
P.O. Box. 1839, (care of)
Dubuque, Iowa.

Dear Sir,

Yours to Prest. Young of May 5. was duly received to which I have been instructed to reply.

The regular fare from Omaha to S.L. City is about $88.00.

Our emigration agent, Mr. Wm. C. Staines P.O. Box, 3957, N.Y. City, has special rates for our people in companies, something less than $60.00 to this City.

With regard to settling in Mexico or elsewhere I can assure you that nothing is further from our minds, at the present time, than the thought of leaving the U.S. domain.

Yours with respect
D. McKenzie,
Sec. Prest. B. Young.
