Dear Bro:--

Yours of the 27th has been received. Thanks for your kind invitation to breakfast and dine with you next Saturday or Sunday, but as I would like to be at home then, I will have to decline it. Probably at some future time I may be able, and shall feel happy to avail myself of a similar invitation.

I have just written to Bishop Hess informing him that I will not be able to attend the meetings.
