You will pardon me for so bluntly addressing you but I am ignorant even of your sex. A letter dated Feb. 28. was received from you by Prest. Brigham Young, from which it appears a letter signed by him and O.P. Rockwell had been received by you. He instructed me to assure you that he never wrote you any letter; and upon inquiry of O.P. Rockwell, (whom I failed to see till yesterday) I find that he also knows nothing about it, and, consequently such a letter is a forgery. He wishes you to send him that letter to him, so that, if possible the writing shall be identified and very much oblige.

Yours with respect

D. McKenzie, Secty.
Prest. B. Young.
