Mrs. Phebe Chipman,
American Fork.

Dear Sister,

Your kind and interesting letter was duly received and its contents noted.

I had the matter you allude to, brought to Bishop Hunter's notice; he says you are laboring under a misapprehension with regard to it; as he owes nothing on the land, and that he will write to you and explain the facts in the case.

My health continues excellent, for which I feel very thankful, as I have a great amount of business to attend to.

May peace be with you, and the blessings of health and strength, and every other blessing your heart can desire in righteousness.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
Brigham Young
