Dear Bro: --

Yours of the 26th inst. in reply to a letter written by me to Bro. John Cable with reference to a certain 60 acres of land is received.

Bro. Cable has not yet made it appear what consideration, if any, he received for that land. If, however, as appears probable, the Trustee in Trust lawfully holds that quit claim deed, we are willing you have the land by paying its approximate value, which we think would be justly and rightly estimated now at $567.73/100. reckoning from the original estimate in April /54. at $100.00 with 10% int. compounded annually added up to date.

We would like to learn the names of the present occupants of the 60 acres, and the number of acres occupied by each. Awaiting your early reply,

I remain Your Bro. in the Gospel.
