Dear Sir, Yours of June 13. to Prest. B. Young was duly received. We are not aware of any former letter from you however, and cannot of course tell what its contents were; but, as you remark that it is your intention to embrace our religion, I apprehend it was on that subject.

I would respectfully refer you to any of our elders travelling in your section for particular information on that subject, or, if you cannot find them, Mr. Wm. C. staines of 8. Battery Place, N.Y. may be able to give you their address.

If you do not succeed in this and will write to me stating categorically what you desire to know. I will endeavour to answer to your satisfaction.
