Dear bro:-

The enclosures viz:-Check No 6481. Bank of Deseret on Duncan Sherman & Co C'y $1500.00 " " 11077 Do Kountze bros. Gold 163.60 Are to be credited to Liverpool Office as usual. Be good enough to acknowledge receipt hereof. To day is Tuesday.-- on Sunday we had a lengthy cold rain:--in some of the valleys, snow -- yesterday was quite cold. to day very fine. The President is not well to day. Bro Carrington writes again that he will have to draw upon you or the President for funds to meet the liabilities of his office for individual deposits made for emigration purposes, that is you will be called upon to pay the R.R. fares without his sending you the money to do it with, -- to some extent: so whatever funds may accrue for profits can be used by you that way, only the Account must be kept by you so we can charge it up to the Liverpool Office as you did before. We send you every dollar we can get for emigration uses and hope all will be successfully accomplished.

Your Brother in the Gospel
