S.L. City. July 1. 1872.

Mr. Samuel Pike.
Almy P.O. near Evanston.

Dear Bro:-

Yours of the 30th June in relation to the indebtedness of William Street on his emigration has been received.

In consideration of Bro. Street's condition, if he will pay in $61.16/100 which is the amount of his original indebtedness, exclusive of interest, and pay it within two months from this date, we will give him up his note.

We are pleased to learn that you are doing a little towards the emigration of the poor.

It is safer to send money by the hand of some trustworthy person who may be coming here, than by ordinary mail. If you cannot do this, send by P.O. order on Wells. Fargo & Co and address to me.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
