Wm. B. Preston, Esqr.
Logan, Cache Co.

Dear Bro:

Yours to Prest. B. Young of the 29th ult. was duly brought to hand by Bro. George W. Thatcher.

The Prest. who is, I am sorry to say, unwell and confined to his room, instructed me to write you that it would be best to let that matter rest for the present. He said he would have some of the twelve pay you a visit and have the matter straightened. As to his own visit to Cache valley, he could say nothing whatever about it now, feeling as he does.

I learn this morning that the Prest. feels much better and is likely to come into the office; it is four days since he made his appearance here.

I will hand Bro Green's letter and the other papers to some of the brethren going to Logan.

Your Bro.
D. McKenzie
